People Building and NLP4Kids do not ask for the same certificates. If you are on both, you see both sets. A licence and retraining stay with the person. The law, your insurance policy and your contract still come first.

A DBS certificate does not expire by law. The three-year date is the organisation’s recheck. Being on the Update Service is not the same as being cleared to practise. The office still has to see the original certificate.
Booking retraining is not the same as attending it. Attending retraining is not the same as a new licence. The office records the new licence. An overdue date is chased. It does not by itself cancel a licence.
