Reading a date from a certificate

Version 1.3, 21 October 2026.

When you upload a permitted certificate, Docabee may read a date from the file and suggest it. This is not used on DBS certificates. DBS details are typed in, and the office checks the original in person.

The suggestion can be wrong if the scan is unclear or the date is written in an unusual way. Check it and change it if it is not right. A suggested date does not decide whether your licence is valid.

The file is used to read that date and to store your certificate. It is not used to train a separate product. Questions: info@peoplebuilding.co.uk.
